The original recording of Fairytales, a legendary musical collaboration between singer Radka Toneff and pianist Steve Dobrogosz, has been meticulously restored from the master tapes using MQA technology, in a ‘white glove’ project spanning three years.

Says Andreas Risanger Meland, Grappa Label Manager, “This new ‘Original Master Edition in MQA’ of Fairytales has been made with a profound respect for the magic caught on the original master tapes.

The definitive version of this landmark album has now been captured in a special MQA edition, released globally on 6 April 2018.

"Digital music has given users the ability to hold “a thousand songs in their pocket” for over a decade. But that convenience came at the sacrifice of quality. MQA gives the user the ability to keep the convenience of a large library in their pocket, without sacrificing the quality of the music."
