ALO audio has established itself as a highly regarded brand in the personal audio space, with a team of skilled technicians who are music fans first and foremost. Starting out as Audio Line Out, founded in 2009 by self-taught engineer Ken Ball in Portland, Oregon, the company initially focused on producing the highest grade audio cables. The product range has since expanded into headphone amplifiers and interconnects, for both portable and home listening. ALO audio’s first MQA product is the Pilot, a portable USB DAC with MQA renderer. When paired with streaming services TIDAL or nugs.net, or used with media players such as Audirvana and Roon, the Pilot delivers the full MQA experience.
