Roon Labs
Dubbed “the music player for music lovers”, the Roon application runs on Mac or PC and links to an online database that enhances your music collection with rich metadata and aids music discovery. The software is also integrated with streaming service Tidal, so that Tidal tracks appear alongside locally stored files. MQA support for Roon was announced in January 2018.
Roon Labs co-founder, Enno Vandermeer, previously co-founded music management interface Sooloos, which was established in New York in 2001 and subsequently acquired by Meridian. Roon Labs was spun out of Meridian in February 2015.
